The experience

About this tour

Souss Massa National Park sits about 40 minutes south of Agadir and is one of Morocco's most important nature reserves. It protects a stretch of Atlantic coastline, the Massa River estuary and the semi-desert plains behind it — home to some remarkable wildlife.

With binoculars provided and a guide who knows where to look, you'll visit the river estuary to spot pink flamingos, herons and the rare Northern Bald Ibis — one of the most endangered birds in the world, with a wild population that lives almost exclusively in this park.

The tour also visits the Rokein Reserve, where you can see Scimitar-horned Oryx, Addax and Dorcas Gazelles. These species were hunted to extinction in much of North Africa but are protected and breeding here. Entrance tickets to the park are included.
