Good to know
It's the largest market in Agadir and one of the largest in Africa, with hundreds of stalls selling spices, food, leather, pottery, clothing, argan products and handicrafts. It's a real working market where locals shop.
The souk is open every day except Monday. The tour does not run on Mondays.
Yes — bargaining is expected at the souk. Your guide explains how it works. As a general rule, start at roughly half the asking price and negotiate from there.
Most stalls are cash only. Bring enough Moroccan dirhams (MAD) for your planned shopping.
Spices, argan oil and cosmetics, leather goods, pottery, tagines, carpets, clothing, jewellery, fresh produce, and much more. It's a general market, not just a tourist market.
Both. Your guide gives you an orientation of the market layout and bargaining tips, then you get free time to explore and shop on your own.
