The experience
About this tour
Paradise Valley is a narrow gorge in the Atlas foothills about 40 minutes north of Agadir, where clear water collects in natural rock pools surrounded by palm trees and wild mountains. It's a complete change of scenery from the beach — and one of the most popular day trips from Agadir.
The drive takes you through argan forests and Berber villages, with a stop at a botanical garden to see the region's plants. Then your guide leads a short hike down into the canyon to reach the pools.
You get free time to swim, sunbathe on the rocks or just sit in the shade and enjoy the setting. The water is fresh (it comes from the mountains, not the sea), which is a welcome break from the Agadir heat. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from Agadir, Taghazout and Tamraght.
